Good little ‘street food’ place - served out of a window hatch with tall tables & stools lining the street. Excellent value sandwiches at €6.
The parmigiana sandwich was incredible! Packed full of aubergine, mozzarella and a rich tomato sauce. Would get this over and over again. The meatballs (Genovese-style) were ok but I’d go for ‘al sugo’ next time as a handful of meatballs and onions didn’t fill the roll or pack enough flavour by themselves. The vegetable mix was a decent accompaniment but quite a small serving for €5.
A small take out restaurant with a few tables outside if you can snag one. The menu is small and simple. The pasta with horse was the most divine ragu, and the seasonal veg were varied and interesting. The pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce was decent but nothing special.
Sorry I didn't get the hype.. The meatballs were completely flavourless. I can honestly say that even the meatballs from Ikea are a lot better 😂.
Nice spot in a cute street though. …
I loved it so much, I went back the very next night. Charming gal takes your order and calls out to you to retrieve your items. The homemade pasta (orchiaetta, of course) with horse was DELICIOUS! Comes with bread. Had the meatballs with …
Low-key take-away restaurant that focuses on the essential: simple and tasty Italian food. It’s usually packed but definitely worth the wait! Plus the staff is super friendly to chat with. …
Affordable and delicious local food with many options. Also fast so the best place if you need a quick bite. Great lasagna and burrata with vegetables. Owner/ the lady who takes the order is so nice and has a pleasant smile.
Hole-in-the-wall eatery with some tables on the sidewalk. Had orecchiette with horse ragout, my wife ate the parmigiana. Split a small bottle of wine - what great flavours. We were very happy with this experience.
Solid lunch option, friendly staff and food was hearty and prepared quick.
We went because of the hype around the place, it looks like a must try local italian street food which in itself sounds really promising, but the the truth is that its no more than a super basic, blunt sandwich (some meatballs in a bun) it …
I had a delightful experience at this quaint and cozy restaurant. The homemade food served here was truly exceptional, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Despite its small size, the ambiance was warm and welcoming.
